Frieda Wishinsky has rare editorial vision for picture books. She zones in immediately on what works, what fails and suggests modes of creative repair. She is someone who has impeccable picture book radar and understands the form from the inside out. I consider it an honor when she edits my drafts because she helps me see with Frieda Wishinsky eyes.
